Job summary

Cater Care is hiring a passionate Chef to join our kitchen team at one of our aged care sites in Bangalow, NSW. This part-time role offers a 30-hour week schedule (Thursday–Sunday, 10:30 AM–6:30 PM) in a supportive, professional environment focused on quality meals and high care standards.

You will prepare fresh, nutritious meals, assist with bulk kitchen operations, and ensure food safety while producing texture-modified meals as needed.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).
• Experience in a commercial kitchen (aged care experience desirable).
• Strong communication, time management, and ability to work independently.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and a passion for great food.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present fresh, high-quality meals for residents and staff.
• Assist with bulk meal preparation and daily kitchen operations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen adhering to food safety standards.
