Rocker at Bondi Beach is seeking two talented Chefs to lead kitchen operations in a vibrant coastal setting. Based in Bondi, NSW, you will contribute to high-quality, creative dishes and maintain strong standards across prep, service, and presentation.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience as a Chef in reputable, high-volume venues.
• Strong background in modern Australian, Mediterranean or coastal cuisine.
• Calm, organised and collaborative leadership style.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee prep, service, pass, workflow and quality control.
• Develop, design and execute innovative seasonal menus reflecting local produce.
• Handling recipe costing, GP targets, budgeting and COGS management.
• Ordering, supplier relationships, stock rotation and inventory management.
• Maintain HACCP, WHS and food safety compliance; collaborate with FOH to deliver consistent guest experiences.

Located just steps from Bondi Beach, Rocker blends a relaxed coastal atmosphere with modern Australian food, great tunes, and warm, genuine service. The venue features a bright open dining room, an energetic bar, a loyal neighborhood following, and a kitchen team that takes pride in clean, seasonal, skill-driven cooking. Our food style focuses on fresh local produce, coastal influences, Mediterranean notes, and dishes designed to be shared.

With a solid team in place, strong systems, and a supportive management structure, Rocker is well-positioned for growth as we head into summer. We are now seeking two talented and motivated Chef to support the kitchen team and help elevate our offering. This role focuses on delivering high-quality food, consistency, and creativity while working within a supportive management structure that values professionalism, trust, and stability.

About the Role

• Overseeing prep, service, pass, workflow and quality control Helping the kitchen team Developing, designing, and executing innovative, seasonal menus that reflect the best of local produce and contemporary dining trends.
• Maintaining consistency, quality, and presentation across all dishes while leading a skilled kitchen team. Recipe costing, GP targets, budgeting and responsible COGS management Ordering, supplier relationships, stock rotation and inventory management
• Maintaining high standards in food safety, HACCP, WHS and compliance Working closely with FOH to deliver a consistent, guest-focused dining experience Driving consistency and efficiency across the kitchen

About You

3+ years’ experience as a Chef in reputable, high-volume venues

Strong background in modern Australian, Mediterranean or coastal cuisine Confident leading service during busy periods and maintaining high standards Calm, organised and collaborative leadership style

Passion for fresh, seasonal and quality-driven cooking Australian working rights What
