About the Role:

Hunter Street are looking for an experienced Senior Sous Chef to join their team and be a part of an exciting relaunch.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Support executive chef in the management and strategy for the kitchen
• Collaborate with Executive Chef on menu design
• Assist executive chef with people management, training and development
• Work with Executive Chef on weekly ordering and rostersLead and manage your designated section, ensuring the consistent delivery of premium quality dishes
• Execute dishes with precision, maintaining exceptional quality, presentation, and portion control during service
• fostering efficiency, communication, and professional growth.
• Implement and manage strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and WH&S standards while ensuring a clean, organised, and high-performing workstation

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous Experience: Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a premium or fine dining restaurant.
• Food Cleanliness: Strong focus on maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
• Leadership and Team Player Skills:A passion for training and developing talented culinary individuals who will be the future leaders within the business.
• Effective Communication: Skills in fostering honesty and transparency, with the ability to provide timely updates.
