Job summary

Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club in Sydney is seeking a hands-on Senior Chef to support the Head Chef and deliver exceptional cuisine across member dining, events and regattas in a premium waterfront setting.

You will lead by example in a busy kitchen, contribute to menu development, manage daily operations, and uphold food safety and WHS standards. The role offers a stable, long-term opportunity within a respected hospitality venue. Competitive salary band AUD 75k–80k plus superannuation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on kitchen experience in a busy hospitality environment.
• Ability to lead and support a Head Chef and kitchen team.
• Experience developing seasonal menus and daily specials.
• Solid knowledge of food safety practices and WHS standards.

Are you a passionate chef who takes pride in quality ingredients, in-house preparation, and creative cooking?

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Chef to support our Head Chef in delivering exceptional food across a busy and diverse hospitality environment. Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Head Chef to deliver high-quality, in-house prepared meals
• Lead by example in a hands-on kitchen role
• Assist with menu development, seasonal menus, and daily specials

About You

• Passionate chef with strong hands-on kitchen experience
• Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on kitchen experience required
• Previous experience in a busy, quality-focused hospitality environment
• Ability to work closely with and support a Head Chef
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Food Safety Supervisor certification required
