Job summary

Soldier On in Port Macquarie is seeking a casual Chef to join our kitchen team and help provide high quality meals that support patient care.

You will prepare, cook and serve meals, apply food safety controls, manage stock and maintain food safety documents, working Monday to Friday.

Certificate III Commercial Cookery is required and NPC clearance is preferred; training is provided and there are opportunities for internal transfer within Morrison Living.

Qualifications

• Certificate III Commercial Cookery required.
• NPC: Possess a National Police Clearance (or be willing to obtain one)
• Commitment to drive a positive and sustainable safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and serve meals in line with procedures.
• Apply catering control principles; food safety, waste minimisation and cleaning.
• Responsible for maintaining food safety documents.
• Stock control and rotation.
