Job summary

Compass Group Pty Limited in Geelong is seeking a Casual Chef to prepare fresh, nutritious meals for students, contribute to menu ideas using local ingredients and monitor stock to minimise wastage.

Shifts are Thursday and Friday with additional hours available; there are no late nights or weekends and onsite parking is provided.

The role requires Cert 3 and 4 in Commercial Cookery, bulk-cooking experience, allergen and food safety knowledge, and the ability to cook savoury and desserts.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking in bulk quantities
• Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety
• Passionate about healthy and nutritious food
• Able to cook savoury and sweet desserts
• Valid Working with Children Check & Police Clearance
• Excellent knowledge of kitchen procedures and operations

$33.00 / hour + 25% Casual Loading
