The role requires at least 2 years of full-time chef experience, strong Italian cuisine skills, RSA certification, and a high level of personal cleanliness. You must be punctual and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Monitoring dish quality at all stages of prep and presentation.

We are looking for an experienced Chef for Ray's Pizza Cafe'. This is a full time position working evening shifts till late at night, including weekends. You will be responsible for all aspects of food preparation, kitchen management, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Inspecting food preparation to ensure the presentation and cleanliness of the kitchen is maintained
• Ensuring quality in the production and preparation of food
• Estimating food and labour cost and ordering food supplies from suppliers
• Checking and recording cool room and fridges temperature
• Recording the temperature according to food and safety standards
• Maintaining stock rotation
• Maintaining communication with the work team
• Monitoring the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
• Cooking every dish on the menu including different pizzas and pastas
