SPICE AFFAIRS KAPOOR'S AUTHENTIC INDIAN CUISINE in Lambton, NSW, at 128 Elder Street, is seeking a qualified Chef for a full-time role (38 hours/week). Applicants should have prior commercial Indian cooking experience; the restaurant offers on-going training and a competitive salary package of around 80K AUD plus super.

• Maintain kitchen sanitation and enforce hygiene regulations.

Chef required for a well-established Indian restaurant "SPICE AFFAIRS KAPOOR'S AUTHENTIC INDIAN CUISINE" located at 128 ELDER STREET, LAMBTON NSW 2299. Prospective applicants must have good prior experience of working commercially as an Indian chef. Duties include.

• Preparing various food items from the restaurant's menu that includes vegetarian, non vegetarian and seafood dishes.
• Monitor the kitchen staff during the Pre-cooking preparations.
• Supervise the kitchen staff during all stages of food preparation.
• Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies.
• Plan rosters and train new staff
• Maintaining the standards of kitchen sanitation and enforcing hygiene regulations to all kitchen staff.

In Return, for your commitment and skills, you will receive a competitive salary package 80K (Plus Super) and receive ongoing training with the opportunity to develop your skills. Applicants with formal qualifications (AQF Diploma of Hospitality) and 1 years of practical experience working as an Indian CHEF will be prioritised. Position is available full time, 38 hours/week but applicant must be available for 7 days/week and willing to work odd hours (Weekend, public holidays & late shifts).
