Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience as a Chef or Cook in a restaurant environment.

• Conversational English communication skills.
• Meet English language requirements for visa sponsorship where applicable.

• Strong work ethic with a positive and reliable attitude.
• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced team environment.

• Available for full-time employment or regular casual shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook authentic Japanese dishes to a consistent high standard.
• Assist with food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
• Maintain food quality, freshness and consistency during service.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards at all times.
• Support stock rotation, storage, and inventory control.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Assist with menu preparation and daily specials when required.
