Job summary

Acqua Restaurant & Bar on the Caloundra waterfront is seeking a passionate Chef to join our busy kitchen team. The role emphasises high-quality cooking, team collaboration and consistent service in a well-established venue.

You will prepare and plate meals, maintain safety standards, assist with menu planning and support apprentices, all while contributing to a positive, energetic work atmosphere on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a commercial kitchen.
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
• Solid knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene.
• Able to work well in a busy service period.
• Reliable, hardworking and well presented.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking meals to a high standard.

• Using ovens, grills and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assisting with food preparation, plating and presentation.
