Job summary
Acrow is seeking an experienced Industrial Access Scaffold Team Leader in Australia to drive engineering design and certification of complex scaffold systems. You will lead a specialist team, review requirements, perform structural analysis, and certify designs for challenging industrial sites across Australia.
The role demands a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) with hands-on experience in designing and certifying industrial access scaffolding, along with senior leadership and revit
Qualifications
- Chartered Professional Engineer status is essential.
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
- Significant experience designing and certifying industrial access scaffolding systems.
- Strong structural engineering and temporary works design capability.
- Professional Autodesk REVIT experience.
- Experience using SpaceGass, Microstran, RSTAB or Strand7.
- Solid understanding of Australian structural design standards and scaffolding codes of practice.
Responsibilities
- Lead the engineering delivery of industrial access scaffold projects.
- Mentor and provide technical direction to engineers and designers within the team.
- Design, analyse, review and certify complex access scaffolding systems.
- Undertake structural analysis and detailed engineering calculations for conventional and bespoke scaffold arrangements.
- Develop practical engineering solutions for unusual site constraints and access requirements.
- Conduct and review FEAs and frame analysis models.
- Review Revit models, drawings and documentation for compliance.
- Ensure designs meet Australian Standards, Codes of Practice and safety requirements.
- Provide technical support to project, sales and site teams.
- Liaise with clients on engineering requirements and solutions.
- Resolve complex engineering and site issues.
- Review and approve engineering documentation prior to issue.
- Support the technical development of engineers within the wider team.
