Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in structural engineering is required.
• 10+ years of proven technical experience in an engineering consulting firm or large organisation.
• Charter Engineer accreditation or ability to obtain.
• Strong brownfield design experience desirable.
• Experience leading client-facing project teams to deliver outcomes.
• Experience designing steel structures and concrete foundations for industrial/mining projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate project team activities to meet time and budget objectives.
• Ensure structural design deliverables are complete, checked, approved, and issued with revision control.
• Prepare specifications, design criteria, scope of work and material take-off lists.
• Prepare engineering proposals and monitor budgets within assigned limits.
• Mentor and develop structural engineers within Ausenco team.
• Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and present solutions.
