Qualifications

• Experience interpreting legislation, policy or regulatory frameworks (charities/not-for-profit ideal).
• Experience in government/regulatory/compliance environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication for briefs, reports and recommendations.
• Analytical, problem-solving and project-management skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced settings.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Assess complex charitable fundraising and not-for-profit matters and provide evidence-based determinations.
• Provide authoritative advice on regulatory matters and legislative requirements.
• Manage complex enquiries, complaints and escalated matters with clear decisions.
• Lead/regulatory projects with planning, risk management and reporting.
• Identify systemic issues from data and trends to improve outcomes.
