Job summary

El Jannah Stores in Nowra, NSW, is hiring casual Charcoal Cook team members to deliver outstanding service and prepare our signature charcoal and fried chicken. The role requires efficient work, adherence to safety standards, and a collaborative, friendly approach in a fast-paced setting.

Benefits include free drinks and free meals. Shifts include day & night, with up to 38 hours per week. Work location is in person, with a pay rate up to AUD 34.76 per hour.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in fast food preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn on the go and follow EJ procedures.

Responsibilities

Key EJ responsibilities

• Delivering exceptional customer service, every time
• Cook up our legendary charcoal and fried chicken
• Portion the juiciest charcoal chicken for order
• Man the grill to cook our delicious menu options
• Making sure our restaurant keeps its high level of safety and hygiene standards
• Maintaining a clean work area
• Be a team player to support a smooth customer flow

Ideal skills and experience

• Previous experience in the fast food industry, but not essential. Just bring a keen attitude
• Working to a high level of energy and efficiency, we love a good vibe
• Keen interest to learn on the go, even adapt any new skill set
