Job summary

estara, South Australia’s specialist provider for disability services, is seeking a CFO to drive strategic financial leadership and commercial growth. Reporting to the CEO, you will oversee Finance, ICT, Risk and Governance, leading a seven‑strong team and guiding mergers, business cases and new service models to sustain growth and impact.

You will bring senior financial leadership with strong commercial acumen, CA/CPA credentials, and experience influencing at Board level.

Qualifications

Significant senior financial leadership experience in a complex organisation.
Commercial capability with growth/diversification experience.
Direct mergers and acquisitions experience, including due diligence and integration risk assessment.
Strong financial modelling and robust business case development skills.
Experience in governance, risk management, financial controls and Board reporting.
Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and influence performance and change.

Responsibilities

Lead Finance, ICT, Risk and Governance with a team of seven, including Finance/ICT Managers.
Evaluate, progress mergers and acquisitions, and identify revenue diversification opportunities.
Develop robust business cases and explore new service models and commercial opportunities.
Set financial strategy, oversight of investments, and drive technology-enabled efficiencies.
Support organisational performance and prepare governance reporting to the Board.
