The Learning Haven is seeking a passionate Cert III or Diploma Educator to join our friendly team in Ourimbah, NSW. This role covers 2-3 days per week with long day care hours and a focus on teamwork and nurturing care.

You will provide a safe, stimulating environment; build strong relationships with children, families and the community; ensure regulatory compliance; and contribute to continuous service improvement. We offer competitive pay and pro-development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.

Job description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Cert III or Diploma Educator to join our friendly and professional team at The Learning Haven in Ourimbah, NSW. We are seeking an educator for 2-3 days per week, who is available long day care hours. Join a centre where educators matter and work together to create a great centre that they and the children enjoying coming to.

What you'll be doing

• Providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow
• Building positive relationships with children, families and the wider community
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and policies
• Collaborating with the broader team to continually improve the service

What we're looking for

• A completed Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Strong supervision and child safety awareness and practice
• A good attitude, friendly personality, good morals and ethics.
• Demonstrated experience working with children in centre based care
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
• A deep understanding of child development and a commitment to promoting children's wellbeing
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• A valid Working with Children Check, up to date First Aid certification, food handling and child safety courses.
