Job summary

SDN Randwick Centre seeks a Certificate III Qualified Educator to join our team on a permanent part-time basis, 32 hours per week across Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. You will work across all age groups in a light-filled, modern centre within a supportive community.

Responsibilities include building nurturing relationships, supporting emotional wellbeing, guiding behaviour, and creating inclusive learning environments.

Qualifications

• Certificate III qualified in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• 12 months–2 years of relevant work experience in Early Childhood Education.
• Working with Children Check and current Senior First Aid qualification.
• Child protection training and commitment to child safety.
• Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF).
• Compassionate, patient and dedicated with a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build nurturing, positive relationships with children and support their emotional wellbeing.
• Guide positive behaviour and encourage children’s independence and decision-making.
• Create engaging, inclusive environments that support all areas of development.
• Support daily routines, including meals, toileting, and responding to individual needs.
• Assist with observing, documenting, and supporting children’s learning and healthy habits.
