Job summary

SDN Lidcombe is seeking a Permanent Part Time Educator to join a supportive team that values children, families and staff. If you hold a Certificate III and are committed to meaningful learning, we want to hear from you.

Based in our 2-3 years room, you’ll support children's learning, wellbeing and development daily, while collaborating with colleagues and contributing to EYLF and NQS implementations.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• 6–12 months' experience in early childhood education and care.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check.
• Understanding of EYLF.
• Understanding of NQS.
• Knowledge of Child Protection legislation and training.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Genuine passion for supporting children's learning and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with children based on their interests and support learning through play.
• Create a safe, engaging environment promoting development and wellbeing.
• Support children's physical, emotional, social and developmental needs.
• Observe, document and evaluate children's learning and development.
• Support flexible routines promoting trust and belonging.
• Build respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Contribute to EYLF and NQS implementation.
• Promote inclusion and participation for every child.
• Lead and support the team through collaboration and reflective practice.
