Job summary

Cardiff ELC is hiring Diploma and Certificate III Educators, including those working toward qualifications, to join a team dedicated to shaping children’s lives through quality early childhood education. Roles include building strong relationships with children and families and delivering engaging learning experiences.

We welcome part-time and full-time applicants who are passionate, collaborative and committed to ongoing professional development and the well-being of every child in our care.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate III in Childcare is required/strongly preferred.
• Passion for Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Ability to lead other educators and deliver care and educational programs.
• Strong understanding of EYLF and NQS.
• Current First Aid and CPR Training.
• Working with Children Check and Child Protection Certificate.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking both part time and full time positions of Diploma Educators (or working towards their Diploma) and Certificate III Educators who arepassionate about early childhood education and care and hasexperience in the sector. As well as a new Trainee to join us too :)

As a Diploma & Certificate III Educator your rolewill entail:

Building positive and caringrelationships with the children and their families

Applying your pedagogical knowledge and expertise to ensure the individual needs of all children are met

Observing, documenting, interpreting and evaluating the children's progress,

Keeping informed about the NQF, NQS and the current National Regulations plus current thinking, research and practice while implementing the EYLF

Planning and programming an outstanding educational program for our children

Complying with the relevant government regulations

Meet and exceed the individual needs of each child in all areas of their development

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Create a supportive, stimulating and secure learning environment for the children

Skills and experience you will need:

Recognised Early Childhood Qualification (Diploma or Certificate Three in Childcare)

Passion for Early Childhood Education and Care

Skills to lead other educators, motivating them to excel as you deliver care and educational programs

A strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS

Current First Aid and CPR Training

Child Protection Certificate

Hold a current Working with Children Check

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
