Job summary

Sunrise Dam Gold Mine in Western Australia seeks an experienced Tyre Technician to advance their career within a global tyre management leader. The role requires tyre fitting on mine sites, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to work autonomously across day and night shifts at Sunrise Dam.

Applicants should hold a Certificate II Tyre Fitting (AUR21920) and a current heavy vehicle licence, plus LF forklift.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of earthmover tyre fitting on mine sites.
• Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical Tyre Fitting Heavy (AUR21920) or equivalent.
• Valid heavy vehicle licence (minimum HR).
• Current WorkSafe forklift (LF) licence.
• Safety‑driven with high attention to detail and ability to meet targets.
• Ability to work autonomously.

Job description

Due to continued growth and internal movement, we currently require experienced Tyre Technicians that is looking to take their next career step with a global leader in Tyre Management

Sunrise Dam Gold Mine is located 55km south of Laverton, and is an underground site and open pit, based on an 8:6 dayshift and 7:7 nightshift. You may also be required to work autonomously.

ABOUT YOU

• Preferably a minimum of 2 years of Earthmover tyre fitting experience on mine sites


• You must hold a Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical Tyre Fitting Heavy;AUR21920 or equivalent


• A valid and current Heavy Vehicle Drivers Licence (minimum of an HR licence)


• A current WorkSafe forklift (LF) licence


• Possess a high level of maturity, initiative and the ability to work to meet targets


• An understanding that safety is paramount, with a high attention to detail to abide by site safety procedures


• Ability to work autonomously
