Job summary

Journey Early Learning Durack is seeking an experienced Centre Manager to lead a 111-place early learning centre with a focus on people, families and quality outcomes. You will guide a Centre Leadership Team, oversee operations, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining strong child-safety standards.

You’ll balance people, quality and day-to-day operations, fostering a supportive culture and strategic growth across the service. This is an on-site leadership role in Australia.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Experience as Centre Manager/Director in early childhood
• Experience leading a large team and early learning service
• Strong understanding of the NQF, NQS and regulatory requirements

Responsibilities

• Leading, mentoring and developing your team
• Creating a positive, collaborative and accountable centre culture
• Partnering with your leadership team to drive quality practice
• Building strong relationships with children, families and the local community
• Managing rostering, budgets, occupancy and centre performance
• Supporting recruitment, retention and succession planning
• Maintaining strong compliance with the NQF, NQS and Journey Standards
• Driving continuous improvement and positive outcomes across the service
• Championing child safety and safeguarding practices every day
