Job summary

Young Academics Early Learning Centre is seeking an experienced Centre Manager to lead the Gregory Hills service in New South Wales. The role focuses on safeguarding child safety, overseeing operations, performance and culture to ensure thriving environments for children, families and staff.

You will develop your team, drive quality and compliance, and manage staffing, enrolments and financial performance to deliver outstanding educational practice and positive outcomes for children.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience in early childhood settings.
  • Ability to coach and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of NQS, EYLF and Education and Care Regulations.
  • Experience with operational, financial and organisational management.
  • Commitment to child safety and safeguarding.
  • Current NSW WWCC, First Aid, CPR and Child Protection certificates.

Job description

Young Academics Early Learning Centre is a leading and reputable provider with more than 45 centres across New South Wales. We are seeking an experienced Centre Manager to lead our Gregory Hills service.


About the Role


As a Centre Manager, you will lead the overall operations, performance and culture of the service, creating an environment where children, families and your team can thrive.


You will lead and develop your team, drive quality and compliance, build strong family partnerships and oversee the operational and financial performance of the centre, with child safety and wellbeing at the heart of every decision.


This position is a full-time role – Monday to Friday between 6:30 am – 6:00 pm.


Responsibilities



  • Lead, coach and develop a positive, high-performing team.

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations, staffing, enrolments, occupancy and financial performance of the service.

  • Ensure high standards of regulatory compliance, child safety, safeguarding and quality practice.

  • Lead continuous improvement, including the QIP and Assessment and Rating preparation.

  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with children, families and the wider community.

  • Oversee high-quality educational practice and support your leadership team to achieve positive outcomes for children.


About You



  • ACECQA-approved Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or higher qualification.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience within an early childhood education and care environment.

  • Strong knowledge of the NQS, EYLF and Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop high-performing teams.

  • Strong operational, financial and organisational capability.

  • Current NSW Working with Children Check, First Aid, CPR and National Mandatory Child Protection certificates.

  • Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.

  • A genuine commitment to child safety, safeguarding and continuous improvement.
