Job summary

Young Academics Early Learning Centre in Mortdale is seeking a passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our full-time team. You will create meaningful learning experiences aligned with EYLF and NQS, delivering engaging programs in a safe, inclusive environment that supports children's wellbeing and growth.

You will work 6:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday on a rotating roster, maintain supervision, document learning, build strong relationships with children and families, and uphold

Qualifications

• ACECQA-approved qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Knowledge of EYLF, NQS and service regulations.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check.
• Current First Aid, CPR and National Mandatory Child Protection certificates.
• Current Food Handler Basics Training Certificate.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging educational programs aligned with EYLF, NQS and Young Academics' curriculum.
• Observe and document children's learning and development, promoting wellbeing, independence and agency.
• Maintain active supervision and safe, inclusive learning environments, identifying risks.
• Embed child safety, safeguarding and mandatory reporting into everyday practice.
• Build respectful, responsive relationships with children and support their emotional wellbeing and self-regulation.
• Develop positive partnerships with families and collaborate with fellow educators.
• Participate in reflective practice and contribute to continuous improvement across the service.

Education

ACECQA-approved Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

Young Academics Early Learning Centre is a leading and reputable provider with more than 45 centres across New South Wales. We are currently seeking a passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our vibrant Mortdale Service.

About The Role

As an Early Childhood Educator at Young Academics, you will create meaningful learning experiences that support children's learning, development, safety and wellbeing. You will deliver engaging programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standard (NQS) and our service philosophy, while creating a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Child safety is at the heart of everything we do. You will maintain active supervision, embed safeguarding practices into your everyday work and collaborate with fellow educators and families to support each child's wellbeing, confidence and love of learning.

This position is a full‑time role – Monday to Friday between 6:30 am – 6:00 pm (rotating roster).
