Job summary

Young Academics Early Learning Centre is seeking an experienced Centre Manager to lead the Gregory Hills service in New South Wales. The role focuses on safeguarding child safety, overseeing operations, performance and culture to ensure thriving environments for children, families and staff.

You will develop your team, drive quality and compliance, and manage staffing, enrolments and financial performance to deliver outstanding educational practice and positive outcomes for children.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in early childhood settings.
• Ability to coach and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong knowledge of NQS, EYLF and Education and Care Regulations.
• Experience with operational, financial and organisational management.
• Commitment to child safety and safeguarding.
• Current NSW WWCC, First Aid, CPR and Child Protection certificates.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a positive, high-performing team.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, staffing, enrolments, occupancy and financial performance.
• Ensure high standards of regulatory compliance and child safety.
• Lead quality improvement processes, including QIP and accreditation preparation.
• Foster strong partnerships with families and the wider community.
• Support educational practice to achieve positive outcomes for children.
