G8 Education Limited is seeking a Centre Manager for Community Kids Thornton in Newcastle. Lead a 91-place centre, overseeing daily operations, staff, safety, and parent communication in a permanent full-time role.

You will coach educators, design development-focused activities, and ensure regulatory compliance while fostering a collaborative, inclusive team culture.

Qualifications

• ACECQA approved Diploma (or higher) in Early Childhood Education.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a licensed childcare centre or similar, including leadership.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and manage priorities.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Our Opportunity

As our Centre Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, driving excellence in every aspect of the centre. Your leadership will inspire your team, ensuring the highest standards of care, education, and engagement. We’re on the hunt for an energetic, go-getter Centre Manager at Community Kids Thornton to lead our 91-place childcare centre.

This is a full-time, permanent role created to provide support while a team member is on parental leave. Unlike a traditional fixed-term parental leave contract, this opportunity is offered on a permanent basis, providing long-term career security while supporting the team during this period.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage daily centre operations, including staffing, budgets, and parent communication.
• Inspire and support Educators and Teachers through coaching, mentoring, and professional growth.
