Job summary

G8 Education Limited is seeking an Assistant Centre Manager for McKenzie Street Children’s Centre in Wonthaggi. The role involves supporting an exceptional team to deliver a high-quality learning environment for 70 places, with a 38-hour week on a 12-month maximum term contract.

Applicants should hold an ACECQA approved Diploma in Children's Services, understand EYLF and NQS, and have experience with children aged 0-5 years, along with WWC and First Aid certification.

• Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
• Proven educator experience with children aged 0-5 years.
• Current Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to daily operations and centre program delivery.
• Collaborate with your team to maintain high quality early childhood education.

McKenzie Street Children's Centre has an exciting opportunity for a passionateAssistant Centre Managerto join our 70-place service. We are seeking a dedicated team member with the drive to build and maintain an outstanding learning environment for our children. Our Centre is well equipped with resources and programs based on the Early Years Learning Framework curriculum, including a specialised Kindergarten program.

This role is Full time working 38 hours per week on a 12 month Maximum term contract.

Our children enjoy delightful indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms equipped with the latest age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and a range of activities. At capacity our centre caters for 70 children with operating hours between 6.30am -6.30pm

About You

• You will hold an ACECQA approvedDiploma in Children's Services
• An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Proven Educator experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skillsA current Working with Children Check
