Job summary

G8 Education Ltd. is seeking a Centre Manager for First Grammar Wyoming in New South Wales. The role is initially a 6‑month Full‑Time Max Term, with potential to extend, move to a Part‑Time Job Share, or explore another ongoing pathway within the centre.

You will oversee daily operations, coach staff, design developmentally appropriate activities, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance in a 38‑place centre.

Qualifications

• ACECQA approved Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
• Minimum 3 years in a licensed childcare centre with leadership experience.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage priorities.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily centre operations including staffing and budgets.
• Inspire and coach Educators and Teachers for growth.

We’re looking for an energetic and inspiring Centre Manager to join our strong team at First Grammar Wyoming. With our current Centre Manager taking parental leave, this is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role, support an experienced team and make a genuine impact across our 38-place centre. Initially offered as a 6-month Full-Time Max Term role, there is potential for the opportunity to extend, transition into a Part-Time Job Share arrangement, or explore an alternative ongoing pathway within the centre.

What You’ll Do

• Manage daily centre operations, including staffing, budgets, and parent communication.
• Inspire and support Educators and Teachers through coaching, mentoring, and professional growth.
• Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities for children’s holistic development.
• Prioritise children’s safety and well-being, adhering to policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations and standards.
• Cultivate a positive, inclusive culture that values teamwork and diversity.

What You’ll Bring

• ACECQA approved Diploma (or higher) in Early Childhood Education.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working in a licensed childcare centre or similar setting, including experience in a leadership role.
• A current Working with Children Check
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and manage priorities effectively.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
