Your Role

As Centre Manager, you'll lead a high-performing team and oversee the seamless delivery of day-to-day operations. You'll collaborate closely with internal functions including Leasing, SConnect, Marketing, Operations, Portfolio and Project Management to ensure alignment and a cohesive, customer focused experience.

You will also navigate complex stakeholder relationships, balancing the needs of retailers, customers, internal teams, senior leaders, and external partners- including local councils and community organisations. Building and nurturing local community relationships will be key in driving engagement, placemaking, and long-term asset growth. Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage financial operating budgets, business plans, forecasting and performance tracking.
  • Maximise net profit through strategic revenue growth and disciplined cost management.
  • Maintain strong debtor control and uphold financial discipline across all operations.
Operational Management
  • Track sales and traffic data, monitor tenant performance and drive commercial outcomes.
  • Oversee centre operations including contractor performance, capital works, compliance, and safety.
  • Develop and maintain strong communication lines with retailers, contractors, customers, local councils, and community groups.
  • Build an environment that fosters retailer success and strong onsite relationships.
Innovation & Business Development
  • Lead initiatives that drive organisational improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Conduct post project reviews and identify opportunities to enhance processes and performance.

  • Build, lead, inspire and develop a high-performing, collaborative centre team that delivers with clarity, confidence and accountability while fostering a positive inclusive culture.
  • Support team members with capability development, knowledge sharing and clear objectives.

  • Collaborative, customer centric and relationship driven—able to influence through trust and clarity.
  • Continuously improving, always seeking smarter and more efficient ways of working.
  • Community focused, with a genuine commitment to strengthening local relationships and creating a centre that reflects its community.
