Job summary

Little Scholars Deception Bay Campus is seeking a competent Campus Manager to lead the campus and its team. This full-time role (38 hours per week) offers above award wages with a wage retention grant and super, aligned with experience.

The campus focuses on high-quality early learning for children from 6 weeks to 6 years, with strong emphasis on community engagement and staff development. Applicants should have relevant early childhood qualifications and a current WWC check.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Children’s Services or Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood).
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Current First Aid, CPR, and emergency asthma/anaphylaxis training.
• Strong knowledge of EYLF and NQS.

Responsibilities

• Greet children and parents to ensure high-quality tours and orientations.
• Recruit, motivate and inspire educators to best practice.
• Oversee curriculum and pedagogical documentation.
• Ensure impeccable Centre presentation within the spaces.
• Understand and interpret industry regulations including EYLF and NQS.
• Build and engage with local communities and networks.

Exciting Opportunity for a Manager to lead our Little Scholars Deception Bay Campus!

Little Scholars School of Early Learning is a home from home, family orientated, early education campus with a focus on creating a successful future for all our children, educators and families. Situated in the heart of Deception Bar, we have a beautiful & well-resourced environment that caresfor children from 6 weeks to 6 years.

Role Requirements

We are seeking a strong Campus Manager to lead the campus and its team. This will be a full-time position, 38 hours per week, with remuneration in line with the candidates’ experience.

• Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Children's Services or Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood)
• a current and valid Working with Children Check
• a current first aid CPR and emergency asthma and anaphylaxis training.
• a strong understanding of regulation/legislation, plus Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS) is essential
• the ability to stay calm and considered in the face of anything
• strong team leadership abilities with experienceleading, inspiring and developing a team of professional educators

Key Role Responsibilities

• Put children and parentsfirst taking the time to greet everyone and ensure they have the best possible experience via high-quality tours and orientations
• Recruit, motivate and inspire a team of passionate educators to best practice
• Oversee and guide the highest quality of classroom curriculumand pedagogical documentation
• Ensure immaculate Centre presentation within the internal and external play spaces
• Understand and interpret the relevant industry regulations and legislation, including the National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Framework
• Build and engage with local communities, creating strong ties and relationships with the community and surrounding networks
