Job summary

Journey Early Learning Careers is opening a brand-new Centre in Broadford, VIC. We are seeking an energetic Centre Manager to lead the launch, recruit and develop a strong team, and build relationships with families and the local community from day one.

You will lead recruitment, drive occupancy growth and create a safe, inclusive learning environment in a purpose-built centre designed for 118 children.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in Early Childhood Education & Care settings.
• Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF).
• Proven ability to recruit, develop and lead staff.
• Experience managing occupancy, budgets and centre operations.
• Commitment to safe, inclusive environments.

• Licensed for 118children
• 7 purpose-built learning environments
• Operating hours of 6:30am – 6:30pm
• Dedicated Nursery, Toddler and Kindergarten spaces
• outdoor play yards catering for different age groups
• Flexible room configurations designed to meet community needs

About the Role

As Centre Manager, you'll be the heart of our new service.

You'll lead the recruitment and development of your team, establish strong family relationships, drive occupancy growth and create an environment where children, educators and families feel a genuine sense of belonging.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the culture, vision and success of a brand-new Journey centre while being supported by an experienced leadership team.

About You

You're a passionate and experienced ECEC leader who loves developing people, building community connections and creating meaningful outcomes for children.

You'll Bring:

• Previous Centre Manager or extensive leadership experience within Early Childhood Education & Care
• Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience managing occupancy, budgets and centre operations
• Commitment to creating safe and inclusive environments
• ACECQA-approved Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education
• Current WWCC
• Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications
