Journey Early Learning is opening a brand-new Broadford centre and seeks an exceptional Centre Manager to lead the launch and operations from day one.

You will recruit and develop a skilled team, foster strong family connections, and drive occupancy while ensuring a safe, inclusive environment for children and educators. This is a unique chance to shape culture and contribute to a growing brand.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in Early Childhood Education & Care (ECEC).
• Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to recruit, develop and retain high-performing teams.

• Establish strong relationships with families and the local community.

Journey Early Learning Centre Broadford has been thoughtfully designed to create inspiring learning environments where children feel safe, valued and supported to grow.

Centre Features

• Licensed for 118 children
• 7 purpose-built learning environments
• Operating hours of 6:30am – 6:30pm
• Dedicated Nursery, Toddler and Kindergarten spaces
• outdoor play yards catering for different age groups
• Flexible room configurations designed to meet community needs
• Modern resources and high-quality educational environments

About The Role

As Centre Manager, you'll be the heart of our new service.

You’ll lead the recruitment and development of your team, establish strong family relationships, drive occupancy growth and create an environment where children, educators and families feel a genuine sense of belonging.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the culture, vision and success of a brand-new Journey centre while being supported by an experienced leadership team.

About You

You're a passionate and experienced ECEC leader who loves developing people, building community connections and creating meaningful outcomes for children.

You’ll Bring

• Previous Centre Manager or extensive leadership experience within Early Childhood Education & Care
• Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience managing occupancy, budgets and centre operations
• Commitment to creating safe and inclusive environments
• ACECQA-approved Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education
• Current WWCC
• Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications
