Job summary

Journey Early Learning Group is seeking a experienced Centre Manager to lead one of our Brisbane inner-north centres. You will drive educational leadership, oversee operations and foster a caring culture for children, families and staff.

You will collaborate with the Centre Quality Manager, mentor educators, ensure NQF compliance and deliver high-quality education and care in a supportive, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-equivalent).
• Previous Centre Manager or strong Assistant Centre Manager leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, EYLF and Child Safe Standards.
• Proven ability to lead, inspire and develop high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and pedagogical leadership to deliver high-quality education and care.
• Mentor educators and build strong relationships with families and the local community.

About the Role

As Centre Manager, you'll provide both operational and pedagogical leadership, inspiring your team to deliver high-quality education and care while ensuring the centre continues to meet the requirements of the National Quality Framework.

Working closely with your Centre Quality Manager and specialist support teams, you'll lead centre performance, mentor and develop educators, build strong relationships with families and the local community, and support a culture of continuous improvement.

You'll have the autonomy and support to lead with confidence, develop your team and make a genuine difference to the day-to-day experience of children, families and educators.

About You

• Hold a Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
• Previous Centre Manager experience, or strong Assistant Centre Manager leadership experience
• Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, EYLF and Child Safe Standards
• Proven ability to lead, inspire and develop high-performing teams
• Experience managing centre operations, compliance and team performance
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Hold (or be willing to obtain) a valid Working with Children Check and relevant first aid qualifications
