Job summary

Above and Beyond Early Learning Centre in Avoca QLD is seeking a Centre Director to lead our dedicated team, drive high‑quality outcomes for children, and mentor educators to deliver exceptional early childhood education and care.

You will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with legislation, engage families and the community, and foster a collaborative, positive service culture. The ideal candidate has an approved early childhood qualification and proven leadership in an ECEC setting.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience as a Director in an ECEC setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to mentor and develop a team
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills
• Excellent understanding of NQF/NQS/EYLF and relevant legislation
• Commitment to safeguarding and child safety

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the service
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations
• Build positive relationships with families and the community
• Inspire a collaborative team culture and drive continuous improvement
• Lead, mentor and support educators to achieve high‑quality outcomes

Education

Approved Early Childhood qualification (Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education)
