Job summary

ANZUK Education in Newcastle, Maitland & Hunter region invites an experienced Centre Director to lead a vibrant early childhood service. You’ll drive quality outcomes, mentor a team, and ensure strong family and community connections.

The role includes roster autonomy and a supportive culture with a bonus structure. Lead a well-resourced centre, oversee daily operations, support occupancy growth, and champion professional development for educators.

Qualifications

A minimum Diploma of Children’s Services is required.
Strong knowledge of the EYLF and NQS frameworks.
Excellent mentoring skills and strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to build relationships with families and the community.
Working with Children's Check and current first aid, asthma and anaphylaxis.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor and inspire a team of educators and leaders.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service.
Provide support with occupancy building and staffing through management.
Coach and develop educators through PD and mentoring.
Build strong relationships with families, the local community and stakeholders.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives and quality outcomes across the service.
Work in a well-resourced centre and manage rostering.
