Job summary

anzuk Education is seeking a Centre Director for a new early childhood service in Balwyn, Victoria. You will lead day-to-day operations, drive occupancy growth, and build a strong team culture focused on high-quality outcomes for children and families.

You will mentor educators, manage budgets and resources, and ensure compliance with NQF/NQS and EYLF. This role requires an experienced leader committed to excellence and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA-approved equivalent.
• Experience in a Centre Director/Manager leadership role within early childhood.
• Strong knowledge of NQF, NQS and EYLF.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
• Experience growing occupancy and building community relationships.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Passionate about delivering exceptional outcomes for children, families and educators.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership and mentorship to a team of educators and staff.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring smooth and effective centre management.
• Build and maintain occupancy through strong community engagement and family relationships.
• Lead the development and implementation of high-quality educational programs aligned with EYLF.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team culture.
• Build strong partnerships with children, families, and the wider community.
• Ensure compliance with the NQF, National Regulations, and all relevant legislation.
• Manage centre budgets, resources, and operational performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support the centre’s long-term growth and success.
