Job summary

ANZUK Education seeks a Centre Director to lead an Exceeding-rated not-for-profit early childhood service in Melbourne. You will oversee daily operations, curriculum development, staff management, parent engagement and ensure regulatory compliance to deliver high-quality education.

You will lead a team of educators, foster collaboration, coach staff, and drive continuous improvement while aligning with the NQF and centre philosophy.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in early childhood settings.
• Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of NQF, EYLF, and Victorian sector.
• Proven ability to coach and develop teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong operational and financial management capability.
• Current VIT or Working with Children Check and Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations with quality, compliance, and sustainability.
• Build relationships with families, educators and community.
• Coach and develop educators to achieve best practice.
• Support a culture of reflection, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure program aligns with NQF and centre philosophy.
