Job summary

Nido Early School in Wangaratta is seeking an Executive Service Manager (Centre Director) to lead a team of educators, foster family and community connections, and ensure high-quality early learning experiences. You will set the vision, mentor staff, and manage operations with a commitment to safety and child-centred practice.

The role requires 2+ years of leadership experience, ACECQA-recognised qualifications, and strong knowledge of EYLF and NQS.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA recognised).
• At least 2 years’ leadership experience in the sector.
• Solid knowledge of EYLF and NQS.
• Strong mentoring and communication skills.
• Police Check, WWCC and First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Mentor, guide and support educators to deliver excellence.
• Oversee operations including rostering, budgeting, and compliance.
• Build strong, trusting partnerships with families and the community.
• Lead by example in demonstrating consistency, respect, intentionality, collaboration and speaking up.

The role: Centre Director

• Valid Police Check (or willing to obtain)
• WWCC and First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
