Job summary

Goodstart Early Learning Seaford Rise is seeking a part-time Cook to prepare delicious, healthy meals for children at the Seaford Rise centre. You will ensure meals meet dietary needs, plan menus, and manage supplies with the Centre Director, while upholding strict food safety standards.

The role requires a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or childcare cooking experience), a current SA Working with Children Check, and completion of the National Child Safety Foundation Training via Geckko.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or experience cooking in childcare.
• Current SA Working with Children Check.
• Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training (Geckko platform).

Responsibilities

Pay: $31.36 - $35.44 p/h | Depending on Qualifications and Experience

In this role, you will:

• Ensure the safety of children by preparing meals to account for special dietary requirements and allergies
• Use your creativity and organisational skills to plan the menu and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director
• Maintain high standards of food safety by ensuring all storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks is hygienic
