Goodstart Bees Creek in Fre…? actually, 'Freds Pass – Larrakia Country' is seeking a Centre Cook to prepare delicious, healthy meals for children in our care at the GS Bees Creek centre.

This part-time, permanent role offers 27.5 hours per week (8:00am–1:30pm) in a supportive team environment with a focus on safety and nutritious menus. You will collaborate with the Centre Director to plan menus, ensure food safety, and accommodate dietary needs while enjoying benefits like childcare fee

Formación

• Desirable: Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or experience cooking within a childcare setting.
• Essential: Food safety handling certificate.
• Current NT Working with Children Check.
• Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training, via Geccko platform.

In This Role, You Will

• Ensure the safety of children by preparing meals to account for special dietary requirements and allergies
• Use your creativity and organisational skills to plan the menu and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director
• Maintain high standards of food safety by ensuring all storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks is hygienic
• Work a part-time roster of 27.5 hours per week, 8am – 1:30pm
