Fit Kidz Learning Centres is seeking an experienced Centre Chef to prepare nutritious meals for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years in a safe, clean kitchen. The role requires strong communication and organisational skills, a focus on dietary needs, and adherence to child-safety standards.

Ideal candidates hold a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate, have full Australian working rights, and can obtain a WWCC. Hours are Monday to Friday, roughly 7:30am–1:30pm, with a supportive team in a family-owned

Qualifications

• Full Australian working rights.
• Available to work Monday to Friday, roughly 7:30am–1:30pm.
• Previous cooking experience, preferably in an early childhood education and care setting.
• Demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills.
• Excellent time management and ability to work in a busy environment.
• Reliable and supportive team member.
• Willing to obtain WWCC if not held.
• Willing to obtain Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
• Provide two professional referees.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.
• Catering for individual dietary requirements, allergies, cultural preferences, and medical needs.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and compliant kitchen environment.
• Ordering food and kitchen supplies and managing stock levels.
• Maintaining accurate food safety records and kitchen documentation.
• Supporting a positive, welcoming, and child-safe environment for all children and families.
