Job summary

Fit Kidz Vineyard is seeking an experienced Centre Chef to join our team for a permanent full-time role. You will prepare nutritious meals for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, ensuring high standards of safety and hygiene in a busy kitchen.

Working hours are approximately 7:30am to 1:30pm, Monday to Friday, with hours negotiable. Australian working rights and WWCC are required or willingness to obtain them; food safety qualifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in professional cooking for a childcare setting preferred.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.
• Cater to dietary requirements and medical needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant kitchen environment.
• Order food supplies and manage stock levels.
• Keep accurate food safety records and kitchen documents.
• Support a welcoming, child-safe environment for children and families.
