Job summary

Gateway Hotel in Geelong is seeking a hands-on Kitchen Attendant to help enable kitchen functionality and efficiency in a fast-paced pub setting. You’ll work independently or with the team, focusing on food preparation and keeping areas clean and compliant with safety standards.

Flexibility across day, evenings and weekends is required, with a hands-on role involving lifting and stock movement. Prior food prep experience is valued and you’ll be part of ALH Hotels, a member of Endeavour Group.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchens and food preparation.
• Ability to perform manual handling and lifting.
• Flexible availability across day, evenings and weekends.
• Attention to detail and safety standards.
• Food prep experience highly regarded.

• Engage in food preparation and additional tasks as directed by your team leader
• Proactively identify and address cleaning opportunities in all areas of the kitchen in line with our high food and safety standards
