Job summary

Wagners CFT is seeking an additional team member at our Pinkenba cement plant to operate a wide range of tasks across the site. This is a physical role requiring multitasking and a proactive approach to keeping the plant running efficiently.

Role includes unloading/loading trucks, decanting and packaging cement, sampling for quality checks and maintaining general housekeeping and machinery upkeep. OSHA-like pre-employment checks are required, and unlimited rights to work in Australia are a must.

Qualifications

• Forklift ticket (desirable)
• Mechanically minded and able to operate with initiative
• Capable of working unsupervised with safety in mind
• Willing to pass pre-employment checks (drug/alcohol, medical, police, references)

Responsibilities

• Unload and load trucks, stockpiling resources with loaders/excavators
• Decant and package bulk cement bags (20 kg to 1 t)
• Quality assurance through sampling and data collection
• General housekeeping and machinery upkeep at the plant
