Job summary

Ozpak Pty Ltd, a Nagambie-based winery bottling operation, is seeking a dedicated Cellar Hand to join our team. This fulltime role involves hands-on duties, physical tasks, and operating winery equipment in a quality-focused environment.

You’ll work outdoors, support transfers, blending, and cleanliness across the cellar, with emphasis on safety and teamwork. Drivers licence and forklift experience are desirable, with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Clean tanks, hoses, lines, and equipment.

• Weigh and prepare additives; record-keeping and documentation.

Ozpak Pty Ltd is a state of the art quality focused, contract wine bottling operation, located near Nagambie in the Goulburn Valley region of central Victoria. Our facility is accredited against the BRC and HACCP and standards. Our laboratory is NATA accredited.

About the Role:

Fulltime Cellar Hand role located in Nagambie. We’re currently seeking an enthusiastic and reliableCellar Handto join our winery team. This is a hands-on, physically active role that offers an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in a supportive, quality-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning of tanks, hoses, fixed lines, and equipment.
• Operate and monitor pumps, flowmeters, valves, and filtration equipment such as crossflow filters as trained. Perform some heaving lifting moving hoses, pumps, equipment, and raw materials around the worksite as required.
• Read and understand all cellar note instructions to correctly carry out other cellar tasks including:
• Wine, juice, cider, and beverage transfers and blending.
• Dipping or measuring tank volumes from the tank farm catwalk.
• Mixing and sparging beverages using CO2 and Nitrogen.
• Loading and Unloading tankers and containers as requested.
• Preparing additives, including accurate weighing of ingredients and record keeping.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Mechanical aptitude, technically minded with sound mechanical reasoning and comprehension
• Full drivers licence and a forklift licence is desirable
• An excellent communicator: the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
• A team player: work cooperatively with others that contributes to the team.
