QCB Queensland Country Bank – Townsville QLD is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Due Diligence Officer for a part-time role (20 hours per week) in Townsville. You will assist with customer verification, risk assessments, and transaction monitoring while maintaining accurate records and delivering a positive Member experience.

The role emphasizes compliance, collaboration with AML specialists, and providing excellent service within a friendly, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in banking, financial services, or a customer-focused environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills with ability to build positive relationships with Members and internal stakeholders.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and learning new systems and processes.
• Ability to analyse information, identify potential risks, and escalate issues when required.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Desirable: tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Criminology, or related field.
• Desirable: AML/CTF or compliance-related certifications.
