CatholicCare NT is seeking a supervisor for the Contact Centre Services in Darwin to support changeovers and supervised visits, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children in care. The role involves coordinating a pool of casual supervisors and maintaining high standards of service delivery.

Applicants should hold a relevant qualification with experience in family services, strong communication skills, and cultural competency when engaging with Indigenous communities.

Qualifications

• A qualification and experience relevant to the duties of the role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills including report writing and case note writing.
• Demonstrated cultural competency, particularly in working with Indigenous people.
• Understanding of child development and the possible impact of parental separation.
• Ability to problem solve effectively and work with family dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a pool of casual Contact Centre Supervisors in the facilitation of changeovers and supervised visits.
• Ensure the physical and emotional wellbeing of all clients, particularly the children using the service.
