Job summary

Holy Spirit Primary School, Kurri Kurri, seeks a Religous Education Coordinator for January 2027 start. 1.0 FTE with 0.3 FTE release, working with RE Team across Kurri and Abermain to promote Catholic culture and mission.

The REC will join the school executive to support the Principal and Parish Priest, shaping a shared Catholic identity and delivering quality religious education across Year 3–6.

Qualifications

• Practicing Catholic actively engaged in Eucharistic community, committed to the mission of the Church.
• Strong understanding of Catholic education philosophy and theology.
• Demonstrated leadership in Religious Education, curriculum implementation and student outcomes.
• Capacity to plan and lead Catholic identity as a faith community with shared vision.
• Effective collaborative leadership with parents, parish and community.
• Desirable participation in diocesan formation initiatives (SEEDs or equivalent).
