St Joseph's Catholic Primary School Oatley in NSW is seeking an Acting Religious Education Coordinator. As part of the school's senior leadership team, you will shape the Catholic life, vision and strategic direction, and lead the teaching and learning of Religious Education and the wider religious dimension of the curriculum in a 0.4FTE REC and 0.6FTE teaching job-share arrangement.

Qualifications

• Graduate Diploma or Master of Religious Education, Theology or Theological Studies from an approved institution.
• Requirements of Category E Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead or willing to meet in first contract term.
• Ability to demonstrate standard descriptors at lead teacher level per Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
• Postgraduate leadership units are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the teaching and learning of Religious Education and the wider religious dimension of the school.
• Lead liturgies and celebrations and contribute to curriculum development and differentiation.
• Shape the Catholic life, vision and strategic direction of the school as part of the senior leadership team.
• Demonstrate contemporary pedagogy, drive change, and collaborate across all stages.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, build relationships, and use data to inform planning.
