Job summary

Sparke Helmore is seeking a Catering Attendant for our Sydney corporate office. The role covers a Monday to Friday roster with shifts between 7.00am and 6.00pm. You will provide waiter services for meeting rooms, take coffee and beverage orders, and assist with setting up and breaking down conference spaces for events.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in hospitality and hold a current RSA certificate. Applications from Working Holiday visa holders in Australia are welcome.

About the team and the work

• A unique opportunity to join our Sydney hospitality team in our corporate office, working a full-time role on a roster that covers hours between 7.00am and 6.00pm, Monday to Friday.
• You will provide waiter services to meeting rooms, taking orders for coffees and drinks, as well as setting up and breaking down of conference rooms for events.
• Provide support to the staff café by making barista coffee, assisting with breakfasts, and cleaning and stocking kitchens across multiple floors.
• Join a wider team and work together to deliver exceptional customer service to our biggest and busiest national office.

About you

• This role will suit someone with restaurant, bar and barista experience who is looking for regular work and a Monday to Friday roster.
• Our ideal candidate will have 1-2 years hospitality experience and hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
• We are open to considering applications from candidates travelling in Australia on a Working Holiday visa.
