Job summary

Gate Gourmet, part of gategroup, is seeking an experienced Catering Assistant to join our onsite catering team at a flagship corporate site in the Sydney CBD. The role offers a Monday-Friday roster with day shifts and operates in a modern corporate kitchen environment.

You will support daily food service operations, including food prep, buffet setup, counter service, and ensuring safety and quality standards. Australian working rights are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in hospitality or commercial kitchen environments.
• Experience in corporate catering, bulk cooking or high-volume service (highly regarded)
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Certificate II or III in Commercial Cookery / Hospitality (desirable)
• Full, unrestricted Australian working rights

The Role
